Step 1: Installing/Updating Java
What to expect when you click the link above:
- Click the link above to download and save the file on your computer.
- After the file has downloaded to your computer, double-click on it to run it. (The file will be named jre-1_5_0-windows-i586.exe.)
- If you see Security Warning window, click Yes to go to next step.
- Click the I accept the terms in the license agreement button to accept, and click Next to continue.
- The installer then displays a Setup Type screen. The Typical setup should be selected by default. After ensuring that the Typical setup is selected, click the Next button to continue.
- Click the Finish button on the Installation Completed pop-up window.
After installing Java 3D™, all browser windows must be closed to complete software installation.

- After the file has downloaded to your computer, double-click on it to run it. (The file will be named java3d-1_4_0_01-windows-i586.exe.)
- If an Open File - Security Warning pop-up window appears, click Run.
- On the License Agreement window, click the Accept button.
- On the Install Confirmation window, click the Install button.
- Click the Finish button on the Installation Completed pop-up window.
- Quit out of all open internet browsers to complete install.
- Visit the CRISM View main page to launch the application.
